MARKET VIEW 23.08.2010 MONDAY

BANK NIFTY

Bank nifty close flat at 11020 but trend is very bullish and strong up moves & in the free flowing zone. As per the present position it is looking that it still may continue its uptrend & may move more from here. The next technical resistance in Bank Nifty Future seems to be around the levels of 11500 to 11550.So one may go for buy on dips strategy in it until it close below 10500.

NIFTY

Nifty 5531 the market has comfortable crossed the resistance of 5511 and is now heading towards 5600 with some resistance at 5559 so far the market has managed to stay above 5511 and there is no sign of weakness as yet but the F&O expiry could bring in volatility and that cannot be ruled out

The crucial support on the downside for the Nifty is 5450 and resistance at 5559-5600

SENSEX

BSE Sensex 18402 the crucial support on the Sensex on the downside is 18356-18300 and resistance at 18500-18800

Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.13% or 3.44 points at 2,645.75.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 20,963.25.

Japan's Nikkei was down 0.45% or 41.44 points at 9,137.94.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was flat at 1,776.94.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted rose 0.60% or 47.36 points at 7,974.67.
