Asian markets were trading mixed. Hang Seng was trading at 21,624.70, down 54.10 points or 0.25%. Nikkei 225 Average was trading at 9,535.23, down 106.89 points or 1.11% and Straits Times was at 2,995.06, down 11.70 points or 0.39%.
However, Shanghai Composite was trading at 2,660.60, up 2.21 points or 0.08%. Seoul Composite was trading at 1,785.87, up 2.04 points or 0.11% and Taiwan Weighted was at 8,024.39, up 61.09 points or 0.77%.
