NIFTY

WORLD MARKET 04.08.2010 UPDATED 07.40AM

Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,625.09.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 0.51% or 109.67 points at 21,567.33.

Japan's Nikkei shed 1.48% or 143.82 point sat 9,550.19.

Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.15% or 4.41 points at 3,010.36.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.45% or 8.10 points at 1,782.50.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 7,960.38.
