NIFTY

Nifty 5418 technically the market is still week and is likely to find selling pressure in the upper regions the market opened strong but could not sustain due to selling pressure as expected and closed in the red but taking care to stop near our support of 5400 technically the market is still weak and the next stop on the way down is 5364

The crucial support on the downside for the Nifty is 5364 and resistance at 5428-5437-5447-5493

BSE SENSEX

Sensex 18051 the crucial support on the Sensex on the downside is 17866 and resistance at 18098-18129-18160

GANESHA SPEAKS 17.08.2010

The value at which Nifty will open, will remain the same till 9:50. However, don't take position according to the opening value.

From 9:50 to 11:30, Ganesha foresees that Nifty may go north.

From 11:30 to 12:20, Nifty may go south.

From 12:20 to 15:00, no matter how expert you may be at trading, this time-slot is likely to confuse you. Ganesha advises you to refrain from dealing.

From 15:00 to 15:30, the movement is stock specific, Nifty does not show any strength.

Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.15% or 3.93 points at 2,665.64.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.16% or 34.82 points at 21,077.30.

Japan's Nikkei shed 0.74% or 67.82 points at 9,128.85.

Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.26% or 7.62 points at 2,925.89.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.32% or 5.56 points at 1,748.87.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 7,947.91.
