WORLD MARKET UPDATE 08.07.2010

Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.16% or 3.98 points at 2,425.10.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 1.56% or 309.57 points at 20,166.64.

Japan's Nikkei added 2.67% or 247.56 points at 9,527.21.

Singapore's Straits Times advanced 0.99% or 28.43 points at 2,889.46.

South Korea's Seoul Composite rose 1.32% or 22.09 points at 1,697.74.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted added 0.96% or 72.33 points at 7,606.79.
