Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,565.58.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.28% or 59.17 points at 20,797.44.

Japan's Nikkei was up 0.13% or 12.63 points at 9,936.33.

Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 2,869.34.

South Korea's Seoul Composite added 0.20% or 3.46 points at 1,729.28.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted rose 0.23% or 17.40 points at 7,599.55.
