WORLD MARKETS UPDATE 04.05.2010

Asian Markets
Asian markets trading higher on Tuesday.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 up 1.21 pct at 11,057.40.
Hang Seng Index up 0.76 pct at 20,969.71.
KOSPI Index up 0.22 pct at 1,725.01.
Shanghai Composite Index down 0.54 pct at 2,854.99.
US Markets
US Markets ended higher on Monday. Dow Jones industrial average was up 143 points, up 1.30 percent, to 11,152. The Standard & Poor's 500 index ended up at 1,202. The tech-heavy NASDAQ composite index ended up to settle 2,499.

European Stocks Ended Mixed
European Markets ended mixed on Monday. Britain’s FTSE 100 index ended down 1.15 percent down 65 points to 5,553,Germany's DAX ended higher up 0.51 pct 31 points at 6,167 ,France's CAC 40 ended higher at 3,828.
Commodities
Crude oil was down 23 cents to trade at $85.94 a barrel. Gold settle at $1,181 an ounce.
