Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.71% or 22.47 points at 3,171.83.
South Korea's Seoul Composite advanced 0.41% or 7.60 points at 1,875.64.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted gained 0.45% or 36.75 points at 8,126.97.
