Indian markets extended losing streak for third consecutive session as concerns of weak global economic condition dampened sentiments. Gains in technology, oil&gas and metals were offset by losses in auto, pharmaceuticals and capital goods space.

National Stock Exchange's Nifty ended at 4940.95, down 5.85 points or 0.18 per cent. The broader index touched a high of 5030.15 and low of 4911.05 in trade today.

DLF has decided to sell its prized asset, the 17.5 acres NTC Mill land in central Mumbai, which bankers estimate would fetch between Rs 3000 crore and Rs 4000 crore that will make it one of the biggest land deals in the country.

Market breadth was flat on the NSE with 1653 losers against 1626 gainers.
