Net Profit / (Loss) of Rs. 22420 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-MAR-2010 against Rs. 3320 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-MAR-2009.

WORLD MARKETS UPDATE 28.04.2010

Asian Markets
Asian markets trading lower on Wednesday on Greece downgrade.
Nikkei Stock Average 225 down 2.47 pct at 10,935.99.
Hang Seng Index down 1.52 pct at 20,938.16.
KOSPI Index down 1.28 pct at 1,727.22.
Shanghai Composite Index down 0.23 pct at 2,901.32.
US Markets
US Markets ended lower on Tuesday.Dow Jones industrial average was down 213 points,down 1.90 percent, to 10,992. The Standard & Poor's 500 index ended lower at 1,184 . The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite index ended down to settle 2,471 .

European Stocks Ended Lower
European Markets ended lower on Tuesday on Greek woes .Britain's FTSE 100 index ended down 2.61 percent down 150 points to 5,604,Germany's DAX ended lower up 2.73 pct 173 points at 6,160,France's CAC 40 ended lower at 3,845 .
Commodities
Crude oil was down 13 cents to trade at $82.32 a barrel.Gold settle at $1,166 an ounce.
